Today was the first day of training camp, and it was incredible! I had the opportunity to meet everyone, including the teams that will be serving in Thailand, Jamaica, Guatemala and Southeast Asia. There are about 50 of us here, all preparing together for the mission field, and it’s amazing to be surrounded by people who have all said “yes” to wherever God is calling them.

One of the biggest themes from today was learning to lean into the discomfort of how God is moving and working in our lives. Growth rarely happens in our comfort zones, and we were challenged to embrace the stretching, refining, and uncertainty that often comes with following Him.

We also talked about what it means to live radically for Christ. Radical living isn’t just about going on a mission trip but being willing to follow God’s leading wherever He calls, even when it’s difficult or unexpected. The encouraging reminder from today was that we’ve already taken the first step, we’ve already said yes. Now it’s about continuing to trust Him and walk faithfully and commit to our calling.

I’m excited to see all that God has in store throughout this training and over the next two months. Thank you for following along and praying for this journey!
